What Is the Difference Between Live Home 3D and Live Home 3D Pro?

BeLight Software offers two separate apps: Live Home 3D (the one with a red roof icon) and Live Home 3D Pro (the one with a blue roof icon). Note that Live Home 3D Pro offers exactly the same scope of features as Live Home 3D with purchased Pro Features.

From a technical point of view we have only one program—Live Home 3D Pro. The free version (the one with a red roof icon) is a Pro version which has some functionality locked. By purchasing Standard Features or Pro Features, you unlock a half or all of these features.

In other words, if you purchase Pro Features, your program turns into fully functional Live Home 3D Pro. It is exactly the same program as we sell separately.

Why do we sell another Live Home 3D Pro separately? The reason is, a lot of customers do not want to download the free version and then purchase any in-apps, they want the premium version with all the functionality at once.

Keep in mind that Pro Features purchased as in-app and Live Home 3D Pro purchased as a standalone app are two different items for the store. Whichever version is purchased, you can not use them both as the store sees it as another purchase. Also, purchasing Pro Features in Live Home 3D does NOT lead to the icon change. It will stay red, as in the Free version.

What is the difference between Live Home 3D (free or with purchased Standard Features) and Live Home 3D Pro (or with purchased Pro Features) in functionality?

• Standard / Free: Provides the foundational building block toolset, 2D floor plan drawing, 3D furniture arrangement, adjustable lighting parameters, and standard-resolution exports.
• Pro Features: Unlocks full professional architecture capabilities, including multi-story building (unlimited floors), a Custom Roof tool, the Elevation View (2D side view for precise object/wall panel alignment), advanced Terrain Editing tools, a custom Light Source Editor, and a Material Editor for creating highly realistic PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials with adjustable roughness and metallic parameters. Pro also grants ultra-high-resolution image, panorama, and video rendering.
